Hi John, Thanks for looking. Actually one can get a great color range just with 3 basic colors!
DeleteLove the textures and the colors, they are so cheerful, apt for the title! I havent tried water based oils, do you prefer them to regular ones?

DeleteOh water based oils are quite same as regular oils. Except more convenient to clean brushes with just water. I don't do plein air, but its great for it!
DeleteI love all the blues in this painting, and the bird seems to be looking far away and kind of meditating :-) A striking work !
