Oil Painting ONE DAY Class - August 24th, 2013
This is the first time I tried out ONE DAY class - 10 AM to 5 PM. There were 2 people who signed up, nevertheless, I decided to do the class. It was FUN!! Students were expected to bring their painting supplies. Lunch / snacks / Tea etc. was on me. I cooked special lunch...(ahead of time of course), both ladies were surprised as they were expecting pizza. The theme was chosen earlier - Vase with flowers. I picked a simple project to paint. But when I painted the demo project myself before the class, I felt it would take longer to finish during the class time. So we decided to focus on just the flowers and the vase, keeping the background simple. Below are finished projects. It was so much fun!! I am tempted to teach more ONE DAY workshops like this - may be next month!

They all look so adorable! All of them used palette knife for the very first time and completed the painting.
And everyone is a beginner, for most it was their first oil painting!

I just finished teaching 6 weeks of Beginners Oil Painting class last weekend. It was a great experience and results are trickling in! Look at these paintings, they have done such a good job! It is their very first painting and they got fantastic results:
